Just because Mardi Gras is over doesn't mean the partying should stop. So last night we took the opportunity to don feathers and masks for this week's Pop Torrent. We cover dog shows, dating tips from video games, and Barbie's tech career move:
Lots to talk about in the world of pop culture, on an equally slow week for tech news. In this week's show we look back at the Grammys, ahead to the Academy Award nominees, and sideways to the Razzies, along with the return of Lost. Oh, and some depressing (literally) info on internet use, and facebook dopplegangers.
Ryan and "The Cat" are back this week with all of your non-iPad pop culture/tech stories. Oh, and there's a good chance you could still win this episode's giveaway, given the difficulty in seeing just what it is. (It'll make sense when you watch it.)
You know, sometimes it's fun to look back and say, "Wow, we've come a long way!" Well when it comes to our new show, Pop Torrent, we can't do that quite yet since it just started. But here we humbly present episode one in the hopes that in the future, we'll look back at realize just how much better the show has gotten. Audio? Who needs audio to start a show? Lighting? You want to be able to see the hosts, AND you want funnier jokes? Well, you'll just have to wait until episode two. Or maybe three.
There was debate as to whether to post it, then I reminded everyone that Cat was sporting Vulcan ears, and that pretty much sealed the deal. Also, there's an iPhone case giveaway too, so watch carefully!
