I often wonder whether we'll look back and giggle at how ridiculous we look today with our gadgets. Then I think, nah, we won't even notice. I mean how glaring can a woefully dated piece of electronics be? Well for the answer, we travel to the 1980's. To Sears. Will our iPhones and iPods look like as big of fashion faux pas as the giant (even by Walkman standards) portable cassette player in this ad? Time will tell. There's more for your life at Sears!

We're excited to kick off our first Star Trek Saturday! If you happened to just bump into this blog entry here's what we're doing:
Starting today, each week we will be posting one Star Trek episode in its entirety, and in chronological order. We want lifelong fans and newbies to come together for this community viewing experience. Your comments on each episode are what will really drive the community. Again, if you've never watched a minute of Star Trek before, don't be afraid to join in.
Since this is the first episode, let's get some feedback on how the episodes are presented: Should we include a brief synopsis, or should each episode be a fresh surprise? Let's leave the fun factoids for the comments, but feel free to share them.
Also, please remember the ads during the show support fancast and CBS in making the stream possible. To help us bring this community feature, please consider shopping at Amazon using this link. Heck, maybe, just maybe, some Star Trek items will catch your eye.
If you missed it live last night, you missed one of those landmark days in video history. Yes, there's the first broadcast demonstration of television at the 1939 World's Fair. Of course 1969 brought us the moonlanding. Last night though, was the first episode of The Untitled Wednesday Night Show. Ryan Ritchey and Catherine "The Cat" Tillson host this look at "the crossroads of pop culture and technology." And while the show still doesn't have a name, it already has a gimmick (bingo wheel!), and a random challenge. Watch as Ryan and Cat see whether the Blackberry or iPhone (along with their texting skills) is faster in sending a text message. There's also talk of blue alien lovemaking, and sanitary sandwich making. There's plenty more, but we won't spoil the fun:
