Who Will Buy the iPad? A Handy Flowchart

Who exactly is the audience for the iPad? Well, no need to do intense focus group studies. We've pinpointed just who will be buying an iPad simply by looking at previous Apple purchases, and a few third-party shopping habits.

Here it is, your flowchart to discovering whether you, or someone you know will be buying the new Apple iPad:

I've been tempted by the crazy stuff in SkyMall before...but as I've never pulled the trigger it looks like I won't be buying an iPad either :D

I used to go to my Mac to work--to write, to post student grades, develop lesson plans and the like. Now I go to my Mac, check my mail, check out my interests on the web, facebook from time to time (how about that, "facebook" the verb!), and walk away from the Mac without having accomplished anything I initially went there for. With the iPad, however, I might actually get back to working on the computer and doing the rest elsewhere and elsewhen on the iPad. I'm pretty excited about the iPad.

I would love to put all of my textbooks on the Canvas and take that to class. If a high school did this for all of their students, and had some sort of textbook deal, they could save a lot of money.

Here is a question: If I buy a book, or any media for that matter, from Apple, is there any way I can legally sell it to a friend?

I buy family packs because (a) I respect intellectual property as a developer, (b) the price is right, and (c) I will upgrade more than one Mac.

But I have no reason to believe I will buy an iPad--at least not this revision.

I will have to wait for the prices to come down on this, even though the
Apple iPad looks amazin.
